Equity Release Review

Client feedback like this means the world to me.

One of the things I'm most passionate about is helping people make informed decisions.

Equity release can be a fantastic solution for some, but it isn't the right answer for everyone.

That's why I always take the time to explore alternative options and explain everything clearly, so my clients can decide with confidence.

I'm incredibly grateful to receive reviews like this and for the trust my clients place in me. Thank you for your kind words—it was a pleasure to help.

We contacted Lyn Palmer initially in November 2025. We would have no hesitation recommending Lyn to anyone considering equity release. She is an absolute pleasure to deal with and put us totally at ease from the moment she walked through the door.

Lyn explains everything and makes sure you have explored all alternative options for raising money, other than through equity release. She very patiently and clearly guided us through all the implications of what taking out equity release means. This subsequently enabled us to make a fully informed decision. She drafted up two proposals for us from a couple of lenders based upon what we wanted to achieve, and these thoroughly laid out all the options and implications.

Simplified Equity Release has no control or responsibility for the pages you are about to access or where any subsequent link may take you.

Equity release may involve a lifetime mortgage, secured against your property, or a home reversion plan. It will reduce the value of your estate and impact funding for long-term care. We advise on lifetime mortgages only.

Equity release requires paying off any existing mortgage. Any money released, plus accrued interest would be repaid upon death, or moving into long-term care.

Advice is required to proceed with equity release and there may be other options which better suit your circumstances.

We provide initial advice for free and without obligation. Only if your case completes would our advice fee of £1,695 be payable. Other lender and solicitor fees may apply.
